We'll be discussing Antibody One (2025) by Blendo Games, a short game where you play as a cell and explore the inner world of the human body.

How does the immune system fight bacteria? What happens when you eat a pizza?

For a biochemist's perspective, read a game review from the Science Game Center.

Brendon describes how his high school biology teacher got him excited about the ideas behind the game:

She was talking about how specific cells played specific roles, and how that connected to various systems of the body, and how that was related to other parts of the wider system. At some point she got excited about all of these connections and inter-related relationships, and ended with exclaiming how amazing and complex the human body is — isn't it amazing???

[...] I've always wanted to make a game about it, and so here we are.
